The final three contestants in 'The X Factor', who will battle it out in the last show of the series this Saturday night, have been speaking about what winning would mean to them.
In an interview on the show's website, Shayne Ward, who is being mentored by Louis Walsh, said: "If I won 'The X Factor' it would mean a lot to me. I really do want to win it. I still can’t believe that I'm in the final, let alone performing to millions of people on TV."
"So if I win, I would just be emotional. I hope I do win it! Whatever the outcome: even if I go back to my normal job, I will never forget what has happened to me. My family are so proud!," he said.
Andy Abraham, who is Sharon Osbourne's final act in the competition, said: “Winning 'The X Factor' would mean everything to me: it would mean that I'd won something in my life and it means a great achievement to be number one out of 75,000 people."
"It's been worthwhile because I'm in the final, but to win it would be amazing. Every single week, my family have been there. If I won they would be so ecstatic, it would be wonderful to win," he said.
Simon Cowell's final act in the show is Journey South, made up of brothers Andy and Carl Pemberton. They said: "Winning would just be amazing: it would be like the whole time we've been trying to make it has been worth it. It means everything."
Shayne Ward is currently the bookmakers' favourite to win the show.
