Four contestants have been chosen to become the UK's first 'space tourists' in the hoax show 'Space Cadets' on Channel 4.
Mission controller James Campbell announced at a meeting at ground control that Paul, Billy and Keri had managed to secure places on the shuttle.
Actor Charlie, who is the only contestant who is aware that the show is a hoax, will also join the recruits on board the shuttle.
A shuttle for the spoof mission has been purpose-built by Hollywood set designers from a NASA blueprint.
The three recruits have no idea that the show is a hoax and believe that they are due to 'blast-off' on their space mission tonight.
They are currently in training for their mission at their base camp in Suffolk but have been told that they are in Russia, at a real space station.
