'The Simple Life' star Nicole Richie and DJ Adam Goldstein have broken off their engagement.
Richie's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, made the announcement yesterday and said that the decision was mutual.
She did not give further details or say if the couple were still together.
Richie and Goldstein began dating in 2003 and announced their engagement in February.
