The Strokes have confirmed a Dublin show at the Point on Friday 20 January 2006.
The New York band release their third album, 'First Impressions of Earth', in Ireland on 30 of December.
This is the follow-up to 2003's platinum album 'Room On Fire' and was recorded in New York over the last ten months.
'First Impressions of Earth' was produced by David Kahne, who has worked with Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett and Cher.
Three of the tracks on the album were co-produced by Kahne and Gordon Raphael, who produced the bands first two albums, including their debut 'Is This It'.
