Leonardo DiCaprio is to narrate, co-write and produce a new documentary called '11th Hour'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film will examine the state of the global environment.
Commenting, DiCaprio said: "Global warming is not only the Number One environmental challenge we face today, but one of the most important issues facing all of humanity."
He continued: "We all have to do our part to raise awareness about global warming and the problems we as a people face in promoting a sustainable environmental future for our planet."
DiCaprio has previously collaborated on the short films 'Global Warming' and 'Water Planet', which can be seen on his website www.leonardodicaprio.org.
