Pop singer George Michael has said that he plans to wed his long-term partner Kenny Goss next year.
The singer and his partner plan to have a small, private ceremony after gay civil partnerships become legal in the UK.
"I'm sure Kenny and I will be doing the old legal thing, but we won't be doing the whole veil and gown thing," Michael said.
"It'll be relatively soon after it comes in, probably early next year," the singer confirmed. "We'll probably do it here, not abroad."
"I'm not very romantic about it to be honest, I think Kenny probably would be if I let him, but it's just not me," Michael said.
"We want to do it, just in case - you never know, I could get hit by a bus and the poor man could have nothing," he said.
