Boyband Take That have announced that they are to reform for a tour in 2006, including a date in Ireland.

Ten years after they split up, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen are set to return to the live arena for The Ultimate Tour 2006 - without Robbie Williams.

Last week Barlow revealed they had been offered £1m each to go back on tour.

This reunion follows the success of their greatest hits album and a recent ITV documentary.

Take That sold over 10 million albums, with hits including 'Back For Good', 'Pray', 'It Only Takes A Minute' and 'A Million Love Songs'.

Take That will play Dublin's Point Theatre on Friday 12 May, 2006 and tickets will go on sale next Friday 2 December at 8am.
