Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived in Pakistan yesterday on their UNHCR mission to meet survivors of the 8 October earthquake.
Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for UNHCR since 2001, travelled to Balakot, a devastated town in the Northwest Frontier Province.
A UNHCR statement said the actress "participated in an airlift of food, blankets and tarpaulins to a remote village".
Jolie has travelled to more than 20 countries since becoming a goodwill ambassador.
