Cannon and Ball have joined 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The comedy duo surprised the other contestants by arriving at the jungle camp in the early hours.

Their appearance on the ITV reality show had been strongly rumoured.

Tommy Cannon, 67, and Bobby Ball, 61, have been together for 40 years and had their own prime time TV show in the UK in the 1980s.

Meanwhile the other stars are beginning to worry about the lack of food coming into the camp.

Former Atomic Kitten star Jenny Frost has complained that she is losing too much weight since entering the jungle. "I can nearly pull my shorts off and that's only after one day," she said earlier in the week.

The other celebrities have started to wonder how Carol Thatcher is surviving, as she has reportedly eaten hardly anything since entering the camp.

Former 'Emmerdale' star Sheree Murphy commented: "Carol's like Superwoman. I don't know how she is surviving. She's hardly eaten anything since we've been here. She doesn't complain about it, she's not bothered - that is pretty unbelievable."

Carol has refused dinner on a number of occasions, explaining that is was part of a radical diet plan. "I'm not really into food," she said.  I'm quite happy on water. I don't need to lose a few kilos, I need to lose a lot."

So far nobody has earned more than four meals for camp when completing the bush-tucker trials each day.
