Former 'EastEnders' star Elaine Lordan is set to be kept in hospital for a second night after collapsing twice during her first day taking part in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'.
The 39-year-old actress, who played Lynne Slater in the soap, began to feel unwell after completing a tight-rope walk to get into the camp in the Australian jungle where the show is taking place.
Lordan initially collapsed and was treated in the jungle and allowed to return to camp to join the other contestants on the show.
However, the actress began to feel unwell again later in the day and collapsed for a second time. Medical professionals then entered the camp and took Lordan out of the jungle to receive medical attention.
A spokesperson for ITV said today: "As a purely precautionary measure, Elaine is being seen by a second doctor and will remain in hospital for another night."
"A senior member of the the production team will be close at hand
throughout her stay in hospital and we will be ensuring that she receives the best possible care."
When asked if Lordan would definitely be returning to the show, the spokesperson said: "We have just got to wait and see."
