Dawn French and Alison Moyet are set to team in a West End production called 'Smaller'.
The actresses, who have been close friends for more than 20 years, will play sisters in the upcoming play.
French will play the part of a school teacher, who looks after her disabled mother, in the production.
Moyet is due to play the part of her sister, who has ended up as a club singer after failing to make it as a West End star.
'Smaller' was written by Carmel Morgan, whose previous writing credits include scripts for 'Coronation Street' and 'Shameless'.
