Actress Cameron Diaz has slammed plastic surgery in a recent interview, saying that beauty comes from the inside.
"Why would they want to destroy their own character?" the actress said. "I mean, I've broken my nose four times, but I wouldn't dream of getting it fixed because it's part of who I am."
"Women, in particular, are guilty of this. The sooner we accept that we're going to age and die, the richer a life we'll all have."
Diaz also said that unnecessary plastic surgery sent out the wrong message to young people. "Beauty comes from the inside, but that's not the message we're selling to young girls in society today. It's really dangerous," she said.
Diaz also ruled out having any cosmetic procedures done in the future. "I have no desire to look like that ever. The embalmed look really doesn't work for me," she said.
