'Hollyoaks' star Alex Carter, who plays comic beautician Lee Hunter in the show, is reportedly set to join 'Emmerdale' in the coming months.
According to reports, Carter will play Bob Hope's son Jamie in 'Emmerdale' from next January onwards.
Carter reportedly told the Daily Star: "Jamie is a chip off the old block but has a slightly strained relationship with his dad."
Carter scooped the award for Best Comedy Performance at last year's Soap Awards.
