Green Day are to break the record for the longest song ever performed on 'Top of the Pops'.
NME.com reports that the band will perform their new nine-minute single 'Jesus of Suburbia' in the grounds of BBC Television Studios in London's White City for the music show on 6 November.
After their performance, Green Day will treat the audience to a selection of their hits off air.
'Jesus of Suburbia' is released as a single on 14 November.
