Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has persuaded US talk show queen Oprah Winfrey to go green.
The actor appeared on Oprah's TV show to talk about global warming and told her to change her petrol guzzling SUV for a small fuel efficient hybrid car - just like the one he has got.
The 'Titanic' star reckons mankind is facing a crisis over the environment and insists that going green does not make you a hippy.
The actor stated: "Global warming is not only the number one environmental issue that we're facing today, but one of the most important issues facing all of humanity.
"We're in a situation right now where we're basically emitting too much of this carbon pollution from our cars and our electric power plants that burn coal into the atmosphere, and it's causing our planet to heat up."
