Kevin Costner is to play a serial killer in a new film called 'Mr Brooks'.
Production Weekly reports that the thriller will be directed by Bruce A Evans, who co-wrote the scripts for 'Stand By Me' and 'Starman'.
Evans wrote the script for 'Mr Brooks' with writing partner Raynold Gideon.
Shooting on the film is due to begin in Portland, Oregon in April 2006.
