Television presenter Ulrika Jonsson has split from her husband of two years Lance Gerrard-Wright.
A statement released by the couple yesterday said: "We tried our best to make our marriage work, but we are now resigned to the fact that we should part."
Jonsson has an 18-month-old daughter Martha with Gerrard-Wright and two children from previous relationships.
The television presenter told The News of the World yesterday: "It is a very sad situation - not least for our children."
"And they are our first concern. Lance and I will do everything we can to ensure their happiness," she said.
Jonsson met Gerrard-Wright in 2002, while presenting the television dating show 'Mr Right', on which he appeared as a participant seeking a girlfriend. They married the following year.
