Actress Katie Holmes has spoken publicly about her pregnancy for the first time since announcing that she was expecting a child with her actor fiancé Tom Cruise.
In an interview with Access Hollywood at the Rock & Republic fashion show in Los Angeles , Holmes said: "I'm beaming and I'm just so excited."
When asked if the couple had already started preparing a room for the baby, Holmes said: "Yes. We're getting that together and I'm learning how to knit."
Holmes confirmed that plans for her wedding to Cruise are already underway, but said that no date had been finalised yet. "We don't have a date just yet, but there is so much excitement going on," she said.
