Oscar nominee Imelda Staunton has joined the cast of the fifth Harry Potter movie, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'.
Empire Online reports that Staunton confirmed during a television interview that she would play Professor Umbridge in the film, and would begin work on the project in February.
The 'Vera Drake' star said that she had not seen a script yet.
Directed by David Yates, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' is due for release in June 2007.
Staunton stars opposite Emma Thompson in 'Nanny McPhee', which opens in Irish cinemas today.
