Courteney Cox has signed a deal to star in a new, as-yet-untitled comedy.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film follows a Southern socialite (Cox) whose daughter ditches her princess persona in favour of becoming a street hip-hop dancer.
At first the change throws the mother's world into chaos, but the duo eventually reach a greater understanding of each other.
Cox and her husband David Arquette will produce the film through their company, Coquette Productions.
