Westlife have already been installed as the bookmakers' favourite to claim the UK Christmas number one this year.

The boyband are set to release their recently recorded duet with Diana Ross, 'When You Tell Me That You Love Me', in the weeks running up Christmas.

Westlife will face competition for the top spot from The Choirboys, who are set to release a cover of Eric Clapton's hit 'Tears In Heaven' around the festive season.

Other contenders for the UK festive top spot are Tony Christie with 'Merry Xmas Everybody', G4 with 'When A Child Is Born', Mariah Carey with 'Don't Forget About Us', Girls Aloud with 'See The Day', James Blunt with 'Goodbye My Lover', Coldplay with 'Talk' and Robbie Williams with 'Advertising Space'.

Westlife previously had a UK Christmas number one hit with 'I Have A Dream' in 1999.
