David and Victoria Beckham's libel action against the News of the World is to begin at London's Law Courts on 5 December.
The couple are seeking damages for defamation over a September 2004 article entitled 'Posh & Becks on Rocks'.
They will refute allegations that they cynically and hypocritically presented a false image of their marriage to the public to protect their image and for financial reasons.
The trial before a jury is expected to last about two weeks.
