Speculation is growing once again that English actor Daniel Craig will be the next James Bond.
The Daily Mail claimed that Craig had undergone a successful screen test for the role, wearing a tuxedo.
After the report, bookies stopped taking bets on Craig.
The actor's agent declined to comment on the report and Sony Pictures Entertainment, the movie giant which will make the next Bond film, said it did not comment on rumours.
Among the numerous actors who have been linked to the Bond role recently are: Clive Owen, Jude Law, Hugh Jackman and 'ER' star Goran Visnjic.
The 21st Bond film, 'Casino Royale', is due to begin shooting in January.
