'Little Britain' stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams have had waxwork replicas added to Madame Tussauds today.

The pair were added in the form of characters from the show wheelchair-bound Andy and his helper Lou.

The characters were chosen by visitors to the museum who voted for them. Andy and Lou were also selected by the comedians themselves as the most iconic of their 'Little Britain' characters.

A spokeswoman for Madame Tussauds said of the new models: "As per the TV series, Andy will be in his wheelchair with Lou pushing him."

The figures which were placed in the museum are also interactive, as Lucas and Walliams have recorded some of the pair's catchphrases for the display waxworks.
