Former '7th Heaven' star Jessica Biel has been named 'The Sexiest Woman Alive' by Esquire magazine in the US.
Commenting on the 23-year-old's selection, Esquire editor-in-chief David Granger said: "It seemed like it would be great - having named Angelina Jolie sexiest woman of the year last year - to try to come up with somebody who was on everyone's radar screen, but who was also fresh. It just seemed like Jessica Biel's moment."
The magazine also chose Chinese star Gong Li, Sharon Stone and Rene Russo for accolades in the 30, 40 and 50 age brackets respectively.
Biel, whose film credits include 'Stealth' and 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre', will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in Cameron Crowe's 'Elizabethtown'; the film opens on 4 November.
