'Coronation Street' cabbie Steve McDonald will reportedly be abducted by mobsters after taking on a new driver.
His decision to hire sexy Ronnie Clayton at Street Cars backfires as her jealous ex-husband, gang boss Jimmy, starts a hate campaign against the firm.
And it ends with Steve, played by Simon Gregson, being kidnapped at gunpoint after confronting the hardman in The Rovers.
The drama is set to hit screens on Sunday, 17 October.
A 'Coronation Street' insider said: "This will be some of the most dramatic stuff for years and fans will be on the edge of their seats wondering how Steve will get out this sticky situation."
