Teen star Lindsay Lohan will release her new album, 'Confessions of a Broken Heart', next month.
Billboard reports that the follow-up to Lohan's 2004 debut 'Speak' is preceded by the title track single which, according to her website, "addresses her much publicised family issues".
Lohan is also directing the video for the single, which began shooting last week in New York.
It is reported that the video stars Lohan's sister Ali, playing the singer as a younger girl.
