Reality TV star Paris Hilton has ended her five-month-old engagement to her Greek shipping heir fiancé Paris Latsis.
In a statement issued yesterday, Hilton said that she felt she was "just not ready for marriage".
The 24-year-old continued: "I have seen the breakups between people who love each other and rush into getting married too quickly and I do not want to make that mistake."
The 'House of Wax' star said that she and Latsis, who she described as her "best friend", would be business partners in the future and work on movies together.
Hilton announced her engagement in May and the couple had planned two weddings, one in Los Angeles and one in Greece, but no dates had been set.
