Former 'Friends' star Courteney Cox is reportedly in talks to make a guest appearance in the new series of 'Desperate Housewives'.
According to the New York Post, Cox is in negotiations to star as a mental institute escapee in the series.
US media reports claim that the actress would be barely recognisable in the role, as she would be playing a deeply disturbed woman.
Cox, who played Monica in 'Friends', has not taken on any roles since the birth of her daughter Coco last year.
