Fashion designer Valentino has accused Hollywood actresses Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz of looking like "bag ladies".
In an interview with German newspaper Die Zeit, Valentino said: "Today you see Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz running around looking unkempt in jogging trousers, they look like bag ladies, like homeless people. In the past you never saw that."
Valentino, who designs dresses for actress Gwyneth Paltrow, also said in the interview: "In the past, actresses had to commit in their contracts to appear in public like stars when they left their homes."
Valentino designed Jacqueline Kennedy's wedding dress for her marriage to Aristotle Onassis.
