Kate Moss' agent has said that the supermodel is devastated by the recent media reports of alleged drug-taking and may leave Britain as a result.
Sarah Doukas, of the Storm modelling agency, said that Moss is currently trying to get her career back on track and was hoping to sign a new deal to become the face of a luxury perfume brand.
In an interview with The Times, Doukas said that Moss was very upset to learn of the media reports. "She was gutted, absolutely devastated. I read it over the phone to her and the avalanche started almost immediately," Doukas said.
"She loves England. But I'm sure she's feeling concerned about living here again," her agent said. Moss is reportedly hiding out in a secret location at the moment.
Doukas said: "Ideally she'd lie low for a long time, but there are work commitments... She won't be around in the short term, though."
"She's always gone to work every day. You couldn't sustain an excruciating schedule if there was a serious problem," her agent also said.
Doukas also dismissed suggestions that Moss' two-year-old daughter Lila could be taken into care following the recent allegations. "That won't happen. I've seen Kate with Lila and she's a fantastic mother. She's with her a lot."
