RTÉ has announced that 'You're A Star' will return for a fourth series, with new presenters Síle Seoige and Derek Mooney.

Auditions for the show are due to begin in the coming weeks with Síle Seoige, who recently competed in the 'You're A Star Charity Special', presenting the coverage of the audition process.

Derek Mooney will then take a break from 'Winning Streak' to host the live shows in the Helix in the New Year.

In-studio judges for this series are columnist Brendan O'Connor, former Eurovision contestant Linda Martin and Thomas Black of Much Music, who will be offering a management deal to the winning artist or group.

The show will also have a new prize, with contestants battling it out for a €15,000 prize, with a recording contract from Polydor in the UK, released by Universal Music in Ireland. Other acts on the Polydor label include Kaiser Chiefs, Scissor Sisters, Snow Patrol and Van Morrison.

The prize also includes €10,000, with a publishing deal from Sony/ATV Music Publishing in the UK, whose acts include Anastacia, Audioslave, David Bowie and JJ72. The winner will also take part in a television special on RTÉ and receive €10,000 worth of musical equipment, as well as a management deal with Much Music.

There is no upper age limit but potential participants must be 16 years or over. Both bands and individuals are welcome to audition.

Auditions will take place at the Galway Bay Hotel on 25 September, The City Hotel in Derry on 9 October, The Clarion Hotel in Cork on 16 October and The Digital Exchange in Dublin on 29 October.

A special audition for bands will be held in Dublin. To enter this audition bands must send demos and videos or biograghies/photos, before Friday 7 October, to:
