Renée Zellweger and country singer Kenny Chesney have split after four months of marriage.
Publicist Nanci Ryder said that Zellweger and Chesney were seeking an annulment, but could not say whether court papers had been filed and could not provide further details about the split.
News of the split first broke on People magazine's website.
The 36-year-old Oscar winner married 37-year-old Chesney in May, having dated for four months.
Zellweger's new film, 'Cinderella Man', opens in Irish cinemas today.
