Britney Spears' publicist has ended speculation that the singer has given birth to her baby, following media reports which suggested that she was rushed to hospital at the weekend.
A number of US radio stations and tabloid newspapers reported that Spears had been taken to hospital in Santa Monica, accompanied by her husband Kevin Federline, her mother and her younger sister.
However, Spear's UK publicist, David Frossman, denied the rumours. "Britney Spears has not given birth. She's not even in hospital. The baby is due some time in the next month," he said.
