Colin Farrell and director Terrence Malick are in talks about a new film called 'Tree of Life'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Malick, who directed Farrell in the upcoming film 'The New World', would also write the screenplay for the film.
The film's plot has not been revealed but pre-production is due to begin in January and some parts of the film will be shot in India.
'The New World' is due to reach Irish cinemas on 11 November.
