Seattle rockers Pearl Jam are to launch their own digital download store via their official website on 1 September.
Billboard reports that hours after the end of shows on the band's upcoming tour of the US and Canada, the concerts will be available to buy for $9.99 as 192K MP3s.
Each concert available for download will feature special artwork and a slide show of photos from the concert will run onscreen while the show is being downloaded.
Pearl Jam have sold hard copy CDs of their concerts online since 2000, and have recorded sales of over 3m copies.
