Matt Damon is nearing a deal to join the cast of 'Margaret', a new drama from 'You Can Count on Me' director Kenneth Lonergan.
Variety reports that Anna Paquin is attached to star in the film and Mark Ruffalo is also nearing a deal to join the cast.
The film follows a girl who tries to make amends for her complicity in a traffic accident and will begin shooting in New York next month.
Damon's new film, 'The Brothers Grimm', will open in Ireland later this year.
