Actress Jenny McCarthy and her director husband John Asher have filed for a divorce after being married for nearly six years.
According to McCarthy's representative the couple have cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their decision to divorce.
Former Playboy playmate McCarthy, who starred in 'Scary Movie 3' and 'Scream 3', met Asher in 1999 when he was directing the movie 'Diamonds', in which she appeared.
The couple married in September 1999 and have a three-year-old son Evan.
