Coldplay and 50 Cent have been confirmed to make appearances at this year's MTV Video Music Awards on 28 August.
Coldplay are nominated in four different categories, including Video of the Year for 'Speed of Sound'. 50 Cent has been shortlisted for two awards, including Best Male Video for 'Candy Shop'.
Among those previously confirmed to appear at the awards ceremony are Shakira, Mariah Carey, The Killers, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson and Green Day.
A number of presenters have also been added to the line-up with Jessica Simpson, Lil' Kim, Ricky Martin, Ashlee Simpson, Bow Wow, Eva Longoria, Nelly, Hilary Duff, Joel Madden from Good Charlotte, Ciara and Alicia Keys all set to hand out awards on the night.
Usher, Jessica Alba, Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst, Lindsay Lohan, Joss Stone, Jeremy Piven and Snoop Dogg are also reported to be presenting awards to the winners. Rapper Diddy will be hosting the event.
