Rapper P Diddy has changed his performance name again, this time dropping the letter P.
The rap star, whose real name is Sean Combs, said that his previous name was confusing. In an interview with MTV, Combs said: "We made it simpler. We removed the P. The P was getting in between us. We're entering the age of Diddy."
"It sounds strong. It sounds like something is about to happen. It sounds like something is about to go down in history," he said.
Beginning his career as Puff Daddy, Combs changed his name to P Diddy in 2001. The latest change comes just before the rapper is due to host the upcoming MTV Awards.
