'EastEnders' stars Letitia Dean and Nigel Harman are set to leave the soap in the coming months.
Dean, who plays Sharon Watts, and Harman, who plays her adopted brother Dennis Rickman, are currently involved in one of the soap's biggest storylines as they plan their wedding day.
The wedding, which is due to be screened later this month, will be disrupted by the discovery of their father Den's body in the cellar of the Queen Vic.
A spokesperson for 'EastEnders' said that Harman was leaving by "mutual, amicable decision" with producers. He is due to quit the soap before the end of this year.
Dean will be leaving on an extended break, according to the spokesperson. "We do not know when she will come back, but she will return," he said. Dean is also expected to leave the soap at the end of the year.
