Oscar-winning actress Holly Hunter has announced that she is pregnant with twins.
According to People magazine, Hunter's representative confirmed the news, saying: "She is expecting with twins, and she is due this winter".
The 47-year-old actress is in a relationship with British actor Gordon MacDonald, who co-starred in a West End production of 'By the Bog of Cats' with her.
Hunter, who recently voiced a character in the animated movie 'The Incredibles', won an Oscar for her role as a deaf mute musician in 'The Piano'.
The actress' marriage to cinematographer Janusz Kaminski ended in divorce after six years.
