Having initially announced that their second album would, like their debut, be self-titled, Franz Ferdinand have now decided to call the record 'You Could Have It So Much Better...With Franz Ferdinand'.
Franz Ferdinand had originally planned to have only the band's name printed on the album cover, with just a different colour scheme to distinguish it from its predecessor.
Billboard reports that the album is due on 3 October, with the first single from the album, 'Do You Want To?', set for release on 19 September.
Franz Ferdinand play Lansdowne Road with Scissor Sisters and Maroon 5 on Wednesday 24 August.
