Midge Ure has announced the final details for the Live 8 follow-up concert at Murrayfield tomorrow night.

The latest additions to the bill are Neneh Cherry, Will Young, George Clooney and Claudia Schiffer.

Tomorrow night's concert, which is expected to be attended by about 40,000 people will be opened by The Proclaimers. James Brown, Annie Lennox, Bono, Youssou N'Dour, The Corrs, Travis and Texas are also reported to be appearing at the event.

Ure said: "The whole thing about tomorrow is it's an event, not just a concert."

"What I have pushed for is collaborations and combinations of musicians working together that you will never ever see again."

Ure also criticised anti-G8 protesters who were involved in outbreaks of violence in Edinburgh yesterday.

"They should go home, there is no place for them here. We are here to do something positive and they are here to do something negative," he said.
