The Pet Shop Boys are set to headline the recently announced Moscow Live 8 gig, which brings the total number of concerts on the Live 8 bill to 10.
The concert, due to take place in Red Square in Moscow, was confirmed yesterday as one of the official Live 8 gigs.
Joining the Pet Shop Boys on the bill are top Russian bands including Bravo, B-2 and Spleen.
Live 8 co-ordinator Richard Curtis said: "It's terribly important that we represent each of the G8 nations."
A further concert is also scheduled to take place on 6 July in Edinburgh as the summit begins.
Other concerts will be staged in Tokyo, Philadelphia, Toronto, Johannesburg, Paris, Berlin, Rome and London.
