Singer Avril Lavigne has reportedly got engaged to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, whom she has been dating for over a year.
Reports claim that Whibley proposed to Lavigne over the weekend, while she was finishing the European leg of her current tour.
Lavigne and Whibley, who are both from Ontario in Canada, have been friends for a number of years.
The pair were reported to have got engaged last year but the rumours were subsequently denied.
