Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy opened the Harrods summer sale in London today.
The 27-year-old took a tour of the Knightsbridge store with owner Mohamed Al Fayed. First stop was the pet shop where she picked up two King Charles spaniel puppies and declared: "I've fallen in love!"
Then it was on to the jewellery department where she tried on nearly £300,000-worth of diamonds - reduced to half price.
Murphy, star of Sin City and Eight Mile, arrived at the store in a horse-drawn carriage led by bagpipers. She wore a black mini dress and shielded herself from the sun with a matching parasol.
The actress led the traditional countdown to the opening of the doors at 9am. Murphy is currently living in London to film her latest movie ‘Love And Other Disasters’.
