Kylie Minogue has been offered a place on the bill for Glastonbury 2007 by festival founder Michael Eavis.
The singer was due to perform at this year's festival but was forced to pull out after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment in Australia for the illness.
Eavis said: "We sent a message to Kylie wishing her well and maybe we can get her for 2007, although I think she may have a career change now."
Many of the performers at Glastonbury paid tribute to the absent singer, who was due to headline the main stage during the festival.
Coldplay singer Chris Martin said: "Everyone's paid to see Kylie as well so shouldn't we remember absent friends." He then performed a version of Minogue's hit single 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head'.
Minogue's replacement on the bill, Basement Jaxx, also paid tribute to the singer and performed one of her songs in her honour.
Meanwhile, Primal Scream singer Bobby Gillespie was escorted off stage by security guards at the festival, after the plug was pulled on his performance when he taunted fans about coming to see Kylie Minogue.
