JJ72 will play The Village, Dublin on 15 July as part of a series of Ireland and UK dates, in advance of the release of their third album this summer.
The band will showcase new material in July before embarking on a more extensive tour in autumn.
This will be their first live show for over a year and the first tour with new bassist Sarah Fox, who replaced Hilary Woods in 2003.
Singer and guitarist Mark Greaney said that this is a transitional time for the band. "By bringing in Sarah and encompassing her musical background and ideas into the framework, we've also taken some time to create a new energy and momentum for the band."
To date JJ72 have sold 650,000 albums world-wide over the past 4 year. Their third album will be released this summer on Lakota Records and their next single 'Coming Home' will be released on 1 August.
