Kinks frontman Ray Davies has signed a record deal with V2 for his as-yet-untitled debut solo album.
Billboard reports that the album will be released on 6 September.
A spokesperson told the trade daily that a tracklisting for the album had yet to be confirmed.
Davies has been performing new songs during his recent concerts, among them 'The Tourist' and 'The Morning After'.
